Klaas Verplancke is één van de 70 illustratoren die samen met o.a. Peter Sis, Susanne Janssen, John A. Rowe en Kveta Pacovská, werd uitgenodigd om een originele cover te maken voor een droomboek dat (nog) niet bestaat. Deze 70 fictieve covertekeningen werden samengebracht in de rondreizende tentoonstelling The Imaginary Library en is momenteel te zien Japan:

  • March 1st 2009 to May 10th 2009, Chihiro Art Museum, Tokyo
  • May 15th 2009 to July 7th 2009, Chihiro Art Museum Azumino, Nagano
